We are a Family Business of very passionate and driven individuals from all aspects of the creative spectrum. Working side by side for 6 years, we have formed an amazing bond and enjoy capturing your precious moments. Everything we do comes from our hearts and when we work we try our very best to bring something different to the table. Many of our clients consider us to be “Anything but ordinary.” And our designs are a complete reflection of all of our work, effort, and personalities combined.
Neiva has been doing photography for over 8 years. She has always loved to take pictures not only of her own family, but of friends as well. Everyone considered her to be “the person with the camera at every function.” She turned a hobby into an art by educating herself to be a professional photographer, taking classes and attending many workshops. Neiva specializes in creating beautiful and vibrant works of art for Newborns, young children, expecting mothers, couples, families and many more. Her mind is filled with the most astonishing conceptions, entering the world of fantasy and the most imaginative art. Her favorite part is the editing portion of the process, so she spends most of her time behind the computer, and thinking on new ideas for the team.
Ashley has always loved Art and design. In high school she used all her electives to join every type of class that employed using her mind for creating. Several art pieces were featured and won in several competitions. Lunch breaks were spent in the art and photography room as a leisure. Everything she touched she turned to gold. It did not matter if it was painting, drawing, crafting, or designing she always put her heart into everything she did and it always showed through her work. After high school she went on to study graphic design and several photography courses. Later she joined Neiva to collaborate her creative mind and together formulating a force to be wreaked with.Her greatest love is the creative portion of set designing and scene creation, so this is where you will find her the most.
Mr. Trevino. You may call him Jesse, or Junior as I have for 20 years. His birth name is Jesus. He is the silent third face for Neiva Ashley photography. Although his name is not on the title, he has def been there from the start, branching and launching his own video production under our umbrella. He is our equipment and light expert, and more often than not coming to our rescue.
He is there shooting at all our events, most outdoor and studio sessions, assisting or taking the lead in solo coverage. I can confidently say we have gotten to a point in our team where each of us can shoot, pose, edit, and assist. Each of us have our strongest parts ( Which don't always match our preferred parts,
but you’re are given talent where you are gifted not where you pick lol) but we also made a point to practice where we were weaker on to elevate all of our work. Each of us bring something different to the table, and we teach and learn from each other as much as possible. so while each of us have a different eye
(Which is fantastic to create diversity) we try to keep the same style and quality always. He is the glue that holds it all together. From helping with the kids, cleaning, cooking, uploading, downloading, teaching, learning, ordering, editing, packing, setting up, breaking down, shooting, runner, Coffee maker, Red Bull/band getter, 4 am baby watcher, being a therapist, rescuing us when we are frustrated, and loving us when we are down. We wouldn't be able to be Neiva Ashley Photography without him.
